About Cadbury & The Environment

Choclovers.com.au - Our view on Environment

We say we care about the environment – but why should you believe us?

More than a century ago, well before it was fashionable, Cadbury was one of the first major chocolate manufacturers to establish sustainable relationships with Ghana.

As a business we have a documented target to reduce our carbon footprint by 50% by 2020 – a commitment far beyond what most Governments require, and a commitment that we are on target to meet.

Is the new Dairy Milk packaging recyclable?

Yes. The new packs are 100% recyclable and the paper mill which will produce the packs has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. Our research (Consumer Research, The Leading Edge, April 2008) has shown that due to the new cardboard packaging, the intent of consumers to recycle has increased by 103%.
